Summary : Gwen want's lobster (evil cackle)
Authors notes: This was inspired by an episode of Hamish Macbeth(don't ask) a series I liked in the 1990's
As Gwen rushed through the doors, late as usual. She was met with the unusual sight of her team mates gathered around the water tower in the middle of the main Hub. Approaching them he was surprised to see over a dozen lobsters swimming around quite happily in the water.
“What are they doing there?” she asked.
Jack turned to her and answered, “We’re keeping them there until we can cook them.”
A look of glee crossed her face as she replied, “Ooh we get lobster. I’ve never had lobster.”
Jack shook his head and retorted, “And you won’t be having lobster now either, these are for the Weevils.”
Giving Jack the full impact of her cow-eyes she pouted as she replied, “But I’ve never had lobster, surely you could keep one back just for little old me.”
Jack exchanged looks with Ianto who smirked ever so slightly, and after putting up a hand to forestall any comments from either Tosh or Owen, Jack sighed heavily and said. “Okay. But just for you Gwen. I wouldn’t do this for anyone else,” turning to Ianto he asked, “could you get a large bucket please.”
As Ianto went off in search of a bucket, Jack picked a particularly fat one and once Ianto had returned placed it carefully in the bucket and handed it to her.
Taking it and giving them all a self-satisfied smirk she began walking towards her desk.
Ianto called out to her, “Will you be sharing it with Rhys?”
“Oh no this is too good for Rhys, I’m gonna keep this all to myself.”
As she went out of earshot Owen hissed, “Teacher’s bloody pet. That’s what she is. Why when I asked for one did you say I couldn’t have one? Yet all she has to do is give you that dopey look and you buckle? And anyway you never answered my question from earlier, why are they here?”
Tosh replied softly, “They were evidence in a murder trial.”
Glancing at the innocent looking lobsters he growled, “What are you telling me they killed someone?”
“No.” answered Ianto, “they ate someone.”

If only the lobsters would eat Gwen
Rewatch "Countrycide", go on, pay attention to that scene in the beginning in which they ate the burgers, except for Tosh...or I think everyone took a bite. It wasn't called out on screen, but I think it's pretty obvious those burgers were ppl, and part of why the team got REALLY sick of meat at the end.
