Guess who I'm talking about? That's right, Gwen!

Why is it that everytime something bad seems to go wrong, Gwen is that one that gets hurt, in the middle of it. YET SHE ALWAYS SURVIVES!?

Take "Countrycide" for instance. She gets shot full on by a shotgun. And we all know our faveriot Captain let her go first so she would end up mortally wounded. The one time you wished Owen wasn't there to save her.

Then you have "They Keep Killing Suzie", where she has her life force liturally drained from her, and at the last minute. She lives.

In Random shoes, she nearly gets hit by a car. But oh no, Eugene Jones' spirit or whatever you want to call it pushes her out of the way.

Alas, number four. In "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang," Captain John paralyses Gwen and locks her in a crate. Just before she could die she's found by Tosh.

Also, later in that episode she end up Hostage to Captain John which could of resulted in her death. But she didn't die! WHY IS THIS HAPPENING!?

"Something Borrowed", Gwen becomes host to an alien child. At the moment the baby egg is about to kill her, Ryus saves her with the medical thing which i can't remember what it's called. Just as she is about to get mauled by it's mother, along comes Jacl with his mighty big gun killing the mother.

"Fragments", along with the rest of the team they get caught in a building exploding. But why couldn't Gwen of died?

And last but not least. "Exit Wounds" well, we all know what happens there.... :(

Because Cockraoches are notoriously hard to kill. If there were a nuclear armageddon, Gwen would be the last person left on Earth (Jack and Ianto having been rescued by the Doctor) and she would be there with her big cow eyes lamenting 'oh, if they had only listened to me, I am the heart of everything, if they had let me rule the world, this would never have happened, because I know everything, and everyone would have followed my wise advice'.

Gwen would be the last person on Earth because they listened to her. As we've witnessed, people drop like flies around the Teflon one.

I have to admit...You make a very interesting point about Gwen being like a cockroach (maybe her family cross bred somewhere down the line)...

I was a bit sad about Gwen being a cockroach because when she accidentally sets off a nuclear bomb after pressing a button that Jack told her not to...She will be the only one alive...Cockroaches supposedly surviving nuclear bombs and all...

...But then I remembered that good old invention...THE SHOE! Cockroach killer of all!

Because as bad as it was to watch Tosh and OWEN die and have Gwen survive, if it had been Ianto I don't know if I could have stomached it.

She couldn't die because Gwen was not in the building, she was late because she was SLEEPING, no matter than the rest of team was out there risking their lives.

Opps, I wrote this during my Digital Photograhy class at school listen to my teacher ramble on about megapixels and that jazz. So I bet ive gotten some things wrong, but I can only hope!!

Don't forget in "Cyberwoman" there's one point where she just stands in front of the slowly advancing Lisa and gapes at her dumbly until everyone else creates diversions and Owen (I believe) comes to grab her and drag her off by force, 'cause apparently she's too damn stupid to walk briskly from danger. I was so cheering for the conversion chamber to finish her off.
