Gwen cannot be as useless as she appears to be.
Why I'm sure that if we put our heads together, we could come up with 50 or more uses for Gwen Cooper.
For instance -
1. As a monster/alien distractor so that the rest of the team can escape safely.
2. A chew toy for a teething weevil.
3. A weather indicator - along the lines of seaweed, strap her to the sculpture on the plas, if she's wet it means it's raining, if her hair is moving it means it's windy, and if she gets blown away in a storm it means it's a holiday for the rest of the team ;-)
4. As an alternative to sandbags if the Hub is ever prone to flooding.
5. Draft excluder for the cog door.
I'm sure there's plenty of other ideas out there, lets hear a few!

Uses for Gwen
My 9 year old daughter thinks she should be strapped to a board and used on school crossing patrols. She says the sight of her in the road would stop all the traffic right away!
My Husband just said "Weevil Food?" when I asked him, but he was going to work at the time.
I think she should be used as a Trellis. You know, you grow plants up her---
