I was looking at John Barrowman's profile in imdb. Apparently in 2011 there was a Torchwood show called Web of Lies. It also starred Eve Myles and Eliza Dushku. Does anyone know anything about it?

no idea, I didn't watch Miracle Whip, and didn't know anything about this one until you posted.

From Tardis Data Core:

Web of Lies is a "motion comic"-style Torchwood animated serial. It was released online and on Apple iOS devices concurrently with series 4. It ties in with the events of Torchwood: Miracle Day. It has elements interactive with the story, particularly puzzles that unlocked portions of the story as the game/story progressed.

It also makes a small mention to one of the Torchwood Three team members who is deceased by the time of the Miracle, Toshiko "Tosh" Sato. A shocking surprise is that the Three Families have been keeping track of Jack and are curious to see how far his immortality goes for resurrecting him. They also copy the Retcon drug Torchwood uses, making a gaseous version of it for effectiveness (as the pill method is not very reliable.

You're welcome. :)

No Ianto, too much Gwen. That's a major problem with Miracle Day as well. As soon as I saw the animated series was connected with that, I was out.

If they want to make a TW animated series, why not make one about classic Torchwood? :/

It was also one of the "special features" of the Miracle Day DVD's. One of the only good things for the price.

It's basically a game combined with a stop motion comic storyline made to tie in with Miracle Day.

And yes. Way too much of Super Trooper Bazooka Cooper. As far as I'm concerned, Torchwood ended with House of the Dead. Viva la fanfiction.
