So long time no see.
Anyway, I've been on tvtropes.org a lot lately and noticed the distinct lack of Gwen mentions on the pages I'd think she'd have an entry or two. So I put a few polite entries up on the YMMV tropes, where we're all entitled to our opinions. I go back a week later and their all gone. I put them back up, and then they're deleted again. So that's been going on.
The worst offender, however, is the one I put up on the creator's pet page. The entry was deleted by another troper and the justification they gave was just rude. This was the first time I'd put and entry up on that page, and previous tropers had at least been civil in the justification box.
So, anyone else feel my pain?

I put in an askbox on the Jerk-sue section on whether or not Gwen qualified, they figured it didn't.
Which, whatever, their opinion. My best guess is that they're trying to keep the fandom wars away from the page.
Remember, these are also the same guys who removed every trope on rape because Google said so, and when people complained about it, they said “There is no explanation needed beyond the fact that the topic is a pain in the ass to keep clean and it endangers the wiki’s revenues. We just won’t have articles about rape. Super easy. No big loss.”
yeah, no big loss, they were a pain in the ass anyway, right TV-tropes? Because silencing problematic aspects of pop-culture always leads to good things? Luckily, they lost that battle and at least those tropes are back up. Of course, the AGA is a small group and Gwen really isn't the big influence on modern culture RTD wanted her to be. Honestly, most people just don't care enough (hate or love) about Gwen to make a fuss about it.
