Torchwood: Exodus Code - Thoroughly Anti-Gwen Reviews

As may or may not know, JB and his sister have brought out a new Torchwood book. I had high hopes that it may contain some action from Classic Torchwood, but alas, this seems not to be the case. Interestingly, I think all the comments on this review appear to be anti-Gwen based, so I thought you might like to take a look:

I didn't even watch Miracle Whip, so chances of me reading this book has no hope.

One of the comments to the review I had to agree with. As much as I am loathe to read 50 Shades, if I had to choose between Exodus Code and Shades, it would be a no brainer.

I didn't bother wasting my time on Mircale Whip and I don't plan on wasting my money or time on this book.

I suspect that the Gwackers will be loving this book which gives me more reason not to bother.

COE and Miracle Whip killed Torchwood and the only thing that really keeps it going is the fans of Classic Torchwood, and really the amazing fanfiction is the only thing that really keeps me in this fandom.

Well the only TW I'd be interested in would be 'lost file' episodes. After MD - there's nothing left of the original show - so why would I bother?

Obviously JB would love to see the show continue, but I agree with letting it RIP.

Amen to all that said above. It's a good thing I live under a rock where we don't get all the crap. OTOH, we don't get the cool stuff, either, but that's another matter entirely.

It's a good thing we have fanfic indeed.

I read a summary that said it was about every woman in the world going bonkers because of their heighented senses and a trend called #realfemmefatales.

I snorted, called sexism, and moved on like JB wanted me to in the first place. Oh well, back into the fanfiction it is.
