The one remaining pompom obviously came on as Gwen has one vote. Count it....yes, ONE vote. Ianto, however, has THIRTY votes.
When in three hells is RTD going to actually admit defeat? It really, truly is pathetic.
In fact it is becoming embarrassing.
Anyone else , anyone with a shred of dignity, would have said "OK, hands up to it, I made a mistake"

Hey, Janet is a sensible creature! She has feelings! She reacts to the feelings of other people around her! She even has an empathic connection with other Weevils! Of course she has more heart than he Evil Blowfish of Hell!

OTOH, it explains Jack's obsession with her. I always said that she must have reminded him of some bug-eyed, octopus-like alien with whom he'd once had fantastic tentacle sex. ;)

have you seen the cut scene with Jack and Tosh where Jack explains why they are keeping her? It's kind of sad...that part where this is explain but the rest of the scene is funny because you find out Jack has a phobia of "mouse-spiders"...any who the reason they are keeping Janet is she was found buring a dead Weevil baby her own child...Owen took her into the Hub to study her thinking the act was a sign Weevils were more advanced than had previously thought....So yeah Janet does indeed have more heart that Gwen...Also a thought to ponder; If it was Owen who was studying her and we never see her again post Exit Wounds ...what if they let her go and she didnt die in the Day 1 Hub explosion

Day 1 Hub explosion? What Day 1 Hub explosion? I'm still firmly in Denial Land where CoE is considered, thank you very much. For me, Torchwood ended *before* Tosh was killed.

But yea, I know those secenes. They are very touching, I mean tha Janet one is. The other one, with the spidery mouse things spawned lots of hilarious fanfic. :)

Yeah I get you there, I like to believe everything post Adam is a false memory...*OR* since The Doctor was awol during COE & MD these happened in an AU where The Doctor didnt exsist ..so after Big Bang ...The Doctor now steps in where he hadn't before, things happen differently; else Can you imagine what an asshole this makes The Doctor by not lifting a finger to help? (Rusty didnt only break TW he pretty much kicked in the teeth of The Doctor if you think about it) Why didn't The Doctor help? Especially when children were involved? Why did he let Jack fry his grandson then try to platcate Jack by pimping Alonzo? Seriously what an asshole this has made The Doctor.

Then there are what-ifs; Since it was Amy Pond's memory that brought The Doctor back...and she didnt know what Daleks and Cybermen were...what if Canary Wharf never fell? Without Daleks and Cybermen it doesn't fall, Jack never meets Ianto and therefore has no reason (yet) to return to his team post TYTNW...TW:London, without Jack they would send some one in to man TW3...later Martha would never have a cause to visit Jack; he is not there, and thus The PHARM gets investigated differently and Owen never gets shot

so there we have it 2-to-3 ways to bring back the whole team although Ianto would be at TW1 -abd perhaps married to Lisa
