Not sure how, or if this works. Just thought that I'd do my bit in bringing down the amount of viewers on the Starz network. This is a post for TWOP.

Episode 1 from the miracle whip

the comments mention this

"Ok, don't know how and where this will work but it's a link to the episode and I just finished watching it so it does work.

Looks promising thus far. And you're welcome."

"It was on On Demand starting at midnight. "

"Also, if you get Xfinity (Comcast) on Demand, even if you don't subscribe to Starz, you can watch the first episode of Miracle Day now. Here's the menu drill-down: OnDemand>Top Picks>Torchwood>Torchwood 101. Thank you Starz! I envisioned myself propped up in front of the computer at 10 watching via Netflix Starz Live."

What's the deal with this, they're broadcasting the first episode BEFORE it's on Starz? how is that supposed to be good PR, or is this part of starz? Well, if anyone here wants to and can watch it, just let us know how bad it is!

Thanks, but I'd rather have root canal than watch Pedo Gwenwood.

As for broadcasting the first ep before it's on Starz, it's probably yet another pathetic attempt to get people to watch the series. Hmmm, let's see. They originally had very posh "by-invitation-only," super special screenings. When they couldn't get people to attend they tried opening it up to anyone who wanted to come (I thought the warning about limited seating to make it appear the show is popular highly amusing). Then they tried a pr stunt and got booed. So now they're letting anyone with Comcast watch the first ep. Desperate, much?

Can't they just get it through their thick skulls that we don't want Gwenwood. They really need the Doctor to come and save the day by killing Gwen and put the universe back on track. Perhaps the Doctor can bring Ianto, Owen and Tosh along for the ride.

Why i think the doc messed up!!!

Did anyone notice that at the end of the year that never was that Tom worked in A and E, when apperently he worked for pediatrics (sorry about spelling but im at work). Was that just me??? That's how i think the doc fucked up and their in a different universe, while in there own UNIVERSE ianto, owen and tosh are still ALIVE

It could have been a mistake...or a way to get more people to pay for Starz(When I went to Comcast the other day to talk about changing my services andd they were telling me about the different packages, I made sure to take one that didn't have starz and made sure to tell them why)

Then again, they've done this before...when Queer as Folk was on, they had put a few eps on demand before they actually aired...

DirecTV is doing the same on their audience channel. And they have the synopsis focusing on the CIA guy, Rex.

They did the same with Dexter and Game of Thrones before they started airing. Maybe Starz figures that since it worked so well for those two series, the same could be said for Gwenwood.
