Ok, this is from
cs_whitewolf's report from Collectormania this past weekend. A little tidbit from Kai Owen's (Rhys) talk there....
Would Rhys end up getting his heart broken by Gwen?
Kai admitted that, yes, he did think that Rhys was going to get his heartbroken by Gwen and that it might be because the writers would try to set up the Jack/Gwen pairing. Much ‘awww-ing’ ensured at this, because we all heart Rhys and do not want to see him hurt anymore by Gwen!

But then, maybe that's just wishful thinking?

Now, I COULD fully support Jack/Ianto/Rhys...

'Now, I COULD fully support Jack/Ianto/Rhys...' Now that's a pairing I can support ;)

Truth be told, I'd even they just quit Jack/Ianto if it meant there'd never be any Jack/Gwen. I'd have Jack with anyone else, *everyone* else but Gwen because it's just too painful to watch- not because it's Gwen but because it makes it look like Jack'll only ever be happy with a woman. (who likes to have affair and make cow eyes at other men even though she's just been married.)
Ahem.

Bit relieved that Rhys may survive. I had nightmare of him dying at the end of season 2. That way Ep. 1 would begin with everyone commenting on how much and long Gwen had been grieving. The episode would end with Jack helping Gwen get over her grief. Ep. 2 would have the two start to hook up.

THE OTHER WRITERS REVOLTED AGAINST HIM TO MAKE HIM LEAVE SO THEY COULD HAVE THEIR GWACKINESS!!!!!
WE SHOULD BOYCOTT THE WRITERS EXISTENCES!!!!
Sorry... The caps craze has passed, but my point is still valid.
