Over at torch_wood there is a Jack/Gwen Jack/Ianto shipper poll (guess which pairing has 92.4% of the votes).

I knew Gwack was unpopular but this poll warms me little Gwen bashing hart.

Someone posted a comment that the Gwack scenes seemed shoehorned in to pander to the bisexual themes of the show. That sounds about right.
