Hi which of the Torchwood novels (if any) aren't completely about Gwen? Which ones are good? I want to read some of them but I also don't want to waste my time reading about super Gwen and how she is going to save the world.

Thanks for the help.

Even the ones that are supposed to feature one of the others has more Gwen than anyone. I was so disappointed in the first 9 that I have refused to waste my money on any more of them.

Skypoint was very Gwacky, though, with Jack admiring how beautiful and extraordinary Gwen is, with super Gwen climbing the Skypoint building because Jack couldn't do it alone... yawn...

And what with the whole problem happening in the building where Rhys and Gwen wanted to buy a flat. It was very Gwen centered, as I recall it.

Oh, don't worry, it's easy to mix up one with the other, given that they're all quite similar and do not make for a particularly 'memorable' reading ;)

I only ever bought one- The Twilight Streets. I found it to be average: writing by rote, with a bit of a 'hard to follow' plot (the PLOT itself wasn't hard to follow, the way it was written made me go back and try to figure out how they'd got to certain points, making me wonder if the book had ever been read at the publishers).
So... I never bought/read another one- there was better stuff available on the internet for free!

Forgot to say- Yes there's Gwen in it, but not too much, if I remember correctly. Ianto (again, if I remember correctly) was the saviour...

I thought there was a lot of Gwen in it. Wasn't she sort of the bad guy? Or am I getting confused.

You're probably right! I was quite unimpressed and have wiped a lot of the book from my mind!

'Consequences' features 5 short stories. Gwen is not in the first at all; it's Alice Guppy and Co. She features strongly in the next two but the next is mainly Ianto and the final one, mostly Jack and Ianto. It's the least Gwen orientated book and worth reading for the Ianto based story, 'Virus'.

The Twilight Streets is the one with less Gwen as possible and, in my opinion, it is also the best one.

None of them can beat good FF and that's free!
Bought TS at a Car Boot- it was OK, would not spend good money on any FF Book as, as I said, it is free on the Internet, and they are written, it seems, for children? It just seemed so easy, and I read it in an evening, so I assumed it was aimed at that audience.

They are rather juvenile and I read that they had to be approved by tptb before being published. Don't know if that's true but they did seem to follow the show's lead of Gwen's the best.
