Summary: This is the fic version of a rant I had on Tumblr about how much Gwen's line in 'Meat' pissed me off. She said "You all think it's cold and lonely out there. But it isn't for me, because I have him." And she said it without thinking about what the rest of her team had loved and lost and how much they'd been through. It was selfish of her and insensitive. Yeah, once more Gwen made it all about her, her needs and her wants, never mind anyone else! I wish the rest of the team had reacted like this - this is what should have happened! Then they should probably have confronted Gwen and put her straight on a few things. She's so self-centred for someone who's supposed to be the 'Heart' of the team. Imo, the rest of the team are far more human and humane than Gwen could ever aspire to be, as wrapped up in her own little world as she is.
