Just skimming my way through the deleted scenes from S1 and there's 1 from Countrycide.

(putting it behind a cut, just in case anybody wants to see it for themselves first)

Okay, it's just at the end of the ep. Gwen is watching TV with Rhys, except of course she's not really interested in it or him. Rhys (not as dumb as he looks) notices that somethings bothering her and asks her about it, asks her whether she can talk about it. So what does oure nice sweet compassionate Gwen do?
Gwen "Is that my phone I hear ringing...it is...oh dear, I have to go to work, byeeee!"

Yeuch yeuch yeuch.
You've got a sweet guy there who not only notices that you're upset about something but actually asks about it and all Gwen can do is run off for a quick shag. And make no mistake, if all she'd wanted was somebody she could talk to about it then she could have gone to Jack or Tosh. Of course if she'd gone to Tosh then she'd have had to listen to Tosh's feelings about being captured by cannibals twice (the second time because Gwen was too thick to hang on to her gun) and of course it's all 'me me me' with Miss Cooper.
Ugh, pass the sick bucket please.

Just when I think I can't *possibly* hate Gwen anymore then I already do...!!! At least I can use my new icon.

'Ugh, pass the sick bucket please.' Can I use it when you're done?

The good thing about alien is that John Hurt had that tentacled thing over his face before it burst out of his stomach so then we wouldn't have to see or hear her either. *grin*

Deleted scene

Please could someone explain to me why RTD thinks Gwen is so great, when even deleted scenes reveal what a **** she is. I would LOVE to see an alien burst out of her as long as she was dead afterward.
