Today SFX interviewed Eve Myles (Gwen) about Series 2. Here are some of the best bits.(Spoiler for episode nine. Removed the casting spoilers). My (Anti Gwen) comments are in bold, I'd love to hear what everyone thinks.

TORCHWOOD WEEK: Eve Myles interviewed
Today it’s the turn of Eve Myles, aka Gwen Cooper.
Since episode nine is set on the day of your wedding to Rhys, can we assume that he still doesn't know about Gwen’s affair with Owen?
“Erm... yes. Yeah, he doesn't know anything about it.”
Please, please just don't be another 'Random Shoes'. You mean she *still* hasn’t told him, surprise, surprise *rolls eyes* Rhys is going to marry her! I feel sorry for Rhys. He deserves someone who loves him, not someone who just wants him around until someone better comes along.
Does Gwen’s relationship with Jack go in a different direction this year?
“Yes. The subtext is huge, constantly, and it moves on a level. As long as it's not actual text. They give each other the space. He knows what she’s up to and she certainly knows what he's up to in the Hub with... certain people. Certain people huh, I wonder who that could be...*points to icon* And that's why they get on so well, that's why they love each other so much, because they have a huge amount of respect and acceptance for one another.”
Is Gwen quite faithful to Rhys?
'Yes, yes she is [sounds disappointed]. Yes, she’s very good.'
Sounds disappointed? So, she likes that her character is unfaithful?
Has she learnt her lesson, then?
'Personally I hope not [laughs] But yeah, I think she has. I think she's trying to cling on to the only thing that’s normal and that’s Rhys, the only thing that grounds her.'
HUH?...She clings to him by cheating on him?

'She's still habouring the 'One Twu Luv' isn't she.' Oh yes, it really is sad.
'Though at least she got the sense to realise he's otherwise engaged *grin*' Hahaha
