Inspired by [profile] kampffenhoffearlier comment about a poll she conducted. In a moment of insanity I went through all the polls that had been put on [community profile] torch_wood as this is a pretty unbiased comm. The results were as we would expect *hate Gwen love Ianto* but  I vaguely remember a poll where we could vote on the best method to off the gap toothed bimbo. But now I can't find it and am wondering whether it's just wishful thinking and if I'm losing my mind because of Torchwood deprivation.

Oh and if anyones interested I've got some of the results from other polls. (As I said total insanity)

Poll

I have two degrees and studied accountancy and logistics as well as doing several music courses. I love Polls but we are never given enough information on the results to be able to judge whether they are accurate or not. That said, if anyone is interested I can put up a more detailed account of my two polls, this includes ages of participants, occupations etc. as well as other more mathematical information. Of course, everyone thought I was crazy but most people I know think I am a bit eccentric anyhow!
I would like to know what the other polls said, please.

Re: Poll

I love Polls. Thanks so much for posting these links and they all worked fine. I particularly like the fact that so many people want Gwen fed to a Weevil, although it would make me real sorry for the Weevil.
Also, the Gwen centric episode Random Shoes seems to be REAL unpopular. I must admit I have never seen it right through. I gave up after around 10 minutes. Husband sat determinedly through to the end because we were allowing our oldest, then 12, now 13, to watch. However, when it ended he evidently said to Dan {husband} that it was rubbish and he hated Gwen and Eugene was boring and the ending made him want to throw up. He was determined to watch every episode though, and I later discovered that he and his friends were actually keeping notes of the number of times they saw down some females cleavage.
Then I had our daughter, Anna-Louise, complaining the following morning that it wasn't fair as she wanted to watch it and we wouldn't let her and it wasn't fair. As she was only 8 then there was no way we would let her watch.
This new season evidently has a younger version too, for which I at any rate am REALLY grateful.

Re: Poll

I also have a little son age 18 months, and am about {in just under three weeks} to produce another. This was, as you might imagine somewhat unplanned!
The closest my own Rhys {aged 18 months and due to a deal of idiocy by his parents born, not at home in London, but in North Wales where I was staying with my sister} has come to Torchwood is grabbing Anna-Louise's Captain Jack figure and chewing his head. If I had know about Rhys in Torchwood I would have called him something else!
Anna-Louise is a great fan of John Barrowman and last year sent a letter to the BBC addressed, I later found out, to Mr. John Barrowman, BBC. It actually reached him and she now has a signed photo of him on her bedroom wall.
My opinion of the BBC, colored by the opinions of a second cousin of mine, a TV producer, went up a lot after Anna-Louise received the photo.
On the subject of chewing, when they produce the promised Torchwood figures I could maybe wait until the new baby is teething and then give him Gwen to chew, as long as she wasn't unfit for babies to suck on and had no small parts. That has given me some very weird ideas and here's Rhys so I must sign off. He has his drum--HELP!
