I love the fact that both john and ianto won. I also find it ironic that TW only won because of those two and not because of Gwen and Eve and also the fact that RTD didn't win is just an added bonus.

But they were right about one thing, i don't think any of the fans will forgive RTD for what he has done not only to Janto but to TW.

But I'm also happy that RTD didn't win. I wouldn't vote for that man if my life depended on it. And that is coming from a card carrying member of the GLBT.

I'm happy that Alan Ball won. He has won awards such as the Oscar, PGA, SEFCA, ... etc that only RTD can only dream of.

I didn't vote for him out of pure principle, i will never vote for that bastard. I'm just happy that someone else won instead of him, i didn't care who won as long as it wasn't him.

By the way, i was on one of the forums the other day and someone was talking about Eve's either website or fan website and it is called, and you will love this,

Oh my freaking God, they have got to be kidding me! Best kept Wales Secret my ass, that's Gareth FFS.

I'm glad that Gareth is making a name for himself and hopefully he'll do well in the future. They do say that living well is the best revenge ;)

What i think will be good is that both john and gareth are successful and she fails and can't get any work outside of TW and RTD. Althought, with how she has been sounding interviews and her dissing the fans like that, i think she will find extremely hard to get work outside of it.

The other thing i would find good is if the BBC ditched her and RTD but kept john and brought back gareth, now that would be a smack in the face for her. That would be a great revenge.

But apparently they are all getting a little nervous because there has been no news on season 4 and the fact that john has seen the BBC but non of the cast or writers have. But the Eve and Kai fans have already said that if the show doesn't come back its all John and Gareth's fault, not RTD who wrote the bloody thing, their fault.

I know, I don't think they liked. I haven't been on there in a while. I went on there a while back to look at a friends' story and got attacked because I was a janto and john fan, it was lovely. So I don't go on there often, if at all.

I went over to "She Who Cannot Be Named" new site and there's 338 members on that site. not really much of a fanbase is there.

John's yahoo group numbers are at least over 5000 members. I really couldn't find one for Gareth.

I also joined the site that you mentioned and took a look see. It seems like a nice place.

LOL I'm all over the place, Facebook, MySpace, LJ, my own blog, here, Save Ianto, Sham's. I'm suprised I remember all the passowrds:)

The snow board is a nice place, we have the odd nutter there but who doesn't, lol! They have a person on there who does really good screencaps and does all of john's programs do that's worth a look.

John has a hell of a lot of fans on yahoo, not sure how many but the snowboard has a hell of a lot of fans on it, definately more than EM's site. There are fansites for gareth too. I have all the janto sites, save janto and ianto sites, a screencaps site, john's sites, tw rps site, fanfic sites, and I can barely remember all of them, I tend to stick to the same name, makes things easier, lol!

So it's unsurprising that John Barrowman has a group there, and the much younger GDL doesn't.

They should ditch Eve Harrington but bring back Kai Owen

If they hit the big reset button, somehow, I have so many ideas, the one some Gwen fans like which means that she's The Key and CoE happened in her head...and one they definitely wouldn't, that she's the real Adam entity!

Let's see, Suzie suddenly starts killing ppl, newbie just fits in? Hmmmmn....

With the Reset, they can bring back everyone! They can bring back Rhys and set him up with Andy! Jack and be with Tosh and Ianto, and Owen and Suzie can be the Token Straight Couple, it'll be delicious.

Andy can be their exterior police liaison, or the sixth hand they call in to help but Is Not On Their Payroll, and I can see him dryly whining about this to Rhys over dinner.

Really, Janto is the ONLY regular gay thing about Torchwood it's disappointing. Mary is a villain, the original Captain Jack thing was a one off, and alien sex pollen and spray doesn't count. It'll be nice to have one gay couple in the main cast, or one and a half(? with Jack/Ianto/Tosh) and some recurring queer couples, therefore no one couple (or lone character) have to shoulder the burden of representation.

A snarky but homesy vanilla Rhys/Andy would nicely contrast the fucked up and intense Janto. If Jack/Ianto/Tosh happens after the "Greeks With Gift", we can have Martha inviting Tosh to a threesome with her husband OR a fling alone with Martha...but Tosh saying no to both, showing that some bisexuals are like Jack, but other bisexuals are actually okay with being in a relationship with only one gender. It's okay to sleep around, it's okay to not sleep around, as it harm none do what you may.

I have no idea, i think they just want someone to blame if they don't get what they want. Ironic really, they complained about the ending but with all of us being upset over what RTD did, they tell us to get over it.

I think what is scaring them is, from what i have seen and heard, the only one who has been in to discuss season 4 is John, none of the writers or actors have been in. Add to that the fact that John has already said that he fully booked for 2010 and is looking at 2011 but he hasn't committed himself to TW. He has given the same line about season 4 in nearly every single interview he has done since before COE, which is very vague and he hasn;t committed himself, he said there should be a season 4 but has never said he is in season 4. The thing is, these are the people who after COE said that TW, like Eve and RTD said, didn't need john and the show would continue on without him but now, its all we need john and he has to come back. WTF? I just don't get these people, i really don't.

They will blame john because he is the BBC favorite and they want him more than Eve, Kai and Co. Gareth, i think they don't like the fact that he is more popular than Eve and if people had to choose, they would rather have him back than her. That and they both exsist basically. I also think what is adding salt to the wound is john talking about all the offers he is getting not just from britain but america too, basically saying that unlike Eve and Kai, he doesn't need TW, infact, they need him more than he need them.

The other thing that has upset them is that Eve didn't get any response from the critics and this was meant to be her shining moment. She got nothing from them and John and Gareth got all the praise, which they don't like and of course now people have either left and said they aren't watching it anymore or as a lot of people are thinking, watching season 1 & 2 then looking at season 3 and thinking what is this? And with the lack of people on the boards, i think they are realising just how tiny they are as a fanbase compared to John, Gareth, Burn and Naoko, which is making them insecure.

He said it in one of new interviews but wouldn't go into details, as for which one, I am not sure because with his book and la cage, he is doing so many I have lost track. Someone else told me and I had already seen it but I can't remember which one, sorry, I have going back to uni brain at the mo, lol!

No ur not bad for wanting to see eve and rtd reaction to the news, I bet it's a bit of a smack in the face for them because John has gone in early to discuss season 4, amongst other things, and I don't think they have gone into talks yet.

As for the fans, it depends on which side of her fans you talk to, some still think it will be ok with just eve but a lot of them are starting to get worried, because if he isn't in it, there might not be a season 4 and if he does stay, with the BBC budget cuts, they might choose John over her to continue on with. But it has a lot of fans and not just eve fans a bit mixed on emotions. They don't know whether it is a good thing or a bad thing, I'm not sure either so I can't say either way.

"Exit Wounds" possibly, but not as badly as CoE, which made no sense, can't they just Dallas (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AllJustADream)? Cop Out or not, if the fans love it, it's fine, and it's been done before it's a trope. Even the hardcore sci-fi series Cowboy Behop has done it;

# Cowboy Bebop has an odd example. Episode 11 appears to end with the entire crew of the Bebop dying. Then it's implied to be a dream in a short scene in the next episode where Spike wakes up. It's also pretty easy to miss, making it appear to be a complete Mind Screw.

* Or maybe the crew was just unconscious for an amount of time and the sign saying "The End" at the end was just a set-up for the preview.

I know what you mean hun, and with the amount of scifi i have seen, there are so many ways for it to be undone or ianto to be brought back, they just need a writer who isn't RTD and who can write this stuff and make it believable. They have just done it on lost where one of the most popular characters was killed and because of how pissed the fans were they have brought her back.

The only thing that i would be curious about is, if they did bring ianto back, what state would jack be in, would you fix him or would you leave as he was at the end of COE and ianto has to deal with the new version of jack?

I currently have this plot bunny, where in a world where Suzie has never found the risen mitten and Jack never found Tosh (don't worry, she's with her mother), and Ianto was trapped with Lisa for days instead of being able to escape with her from Canary Warf...

Jack would be fucked up enough to arrange with one of the very few vampires in the galaxy to turn Ianto, and it will end will Ianto enraged enough to kill Jack, but Jack's last words for now can be, "I will come back for you Ianto, always"
