 I wish I had known about you all in what 2007 at that point it felt like I was all on my own in my utter disdain for Gwen, bar 1 friend who I have now recommended this group to.
I never got what there was to like or admire about Gwen as she is unreliable, unfaithful and generally inconsiderate, just my gentler thoughts.
The one thing I will give the nightmare that was CoE is that a good friend who was more interested in BSG originally has in horror at the gaping plot holes, crap character continuity, etc has gone back to S1 and has discovered that a) she liked Torchwood b) she thought Ianto was great.
Result she is becoming more obssessed then me with the bonus that she is now writing fanfiction that DOES NOT involve Gwen 'heart of Torchwood".

She is in the process of writing and getting beta'd as we speak, so watch this space as I have told her about AGA and she has liked the fiction she's seen.

woohoo gwenless fic. i would love to read it when she posts. the more interviews rtd and em give and try to justify the killing of ianto and the trashing of jack and torchwood the less i can tolerant gwen, sigh.

Just like to say, I too, thought that me 'n' mr wanda1969 were alone in our dislike of GWEN (although I have noticed that EM tends to be cast in irritatingly similar roles)...what ajoy to find there are tons of people out there SEETHING about the characterisation....
