Could we like, have a tag and/or contest for Gwen-Free AUs?
Cause lots of stuff would have happened differently had Gwen not been at Torchwood, and I can't help but think that they would have all been for the better, considering how little Gwen cares for her actual teammates.
Like, for starters, I like an AU where Tosh woke up in the hospital, surrounded by Team Torchwood, Jack, Ianto, and Andy. Owen is gone forever, there is nothing they could do for him and that's sad, and Tosh is sad, but she'll live.
Or even Owen doesn't died, again. Instead of door-knocking, Andy advocates a "see a weevil, club a weevil" policy, letting the proper personals get to where they need to be at earlier.
Gwen never got in, and they either just DENY her access, or she tried her pizza trick later, during "Cyberwoman".
Retro Quote: "She's a very down-to-earth girl, kind and generous, but extremely ambitious, feisty, intelligent and witty. But she's also very human - she's really the girl next door. Because I'm playing her, I put a lot of me into it and I take a lot of my own characteristics." - Eve Myles, Feb 24 2006 Paul Rowland, Western Mail
ETA: gwen-free verses ideas
1. Eugene Jones's Diary: Without Gwen dismissing him, someone actually took Eugene Jones seriously for ONE moment, and got his eye thing without EJ dying. Eventually, they decide to use Ianto replace Suzie, and take in Eugene to take over the admin stuff. I bet that geek has all his mint comics in order.

Random Shoes Sans Gwen
Ianto walked into Jack's office and noticed Jack sigh as he set down the newspaper he was reading.
"What's wrong, sir?"
"Nothing...Just that random kid who liked to follow us around was killed in a hit and run the other day."
"Oh," Ianto hesitated, not sure what to say. "Anything suspicious about it that we should look into?"
"No...just sad is all."
"It is. I'm sure the poor kid never saw it coming." Ianto paused, biting his tongue to make sure he only added 'otherwise he would have gotten out of the way,' in his head and not out loud. "Things like this remind you to live life while you can since you never know what's around the corner," Ianto said he walked over to Jack's desk, set down his coffee cup, and pulled out his other signature item from his waistcoat pocket. "Stopwatch time?"
Jack grinned, grateful for the ever so welcome distraction. "Stopwatch time."
THE END.

Thanks!
Just look at how much happier everyone already is without her. And that's only 2 episodes.
