Well, it is nice to know that John is more popular than both Eve and TW put together.

The problem (actually problems with a "S") with Starmeter and whether popularity tick up or down is this can be the direct result of more "insider" industry paying attention towards a star

For instance: (but not limited to) The BBC could be producing its own article(s) about Eve and/or Gwen and/or future of Torchwood that mentions Gwen...(and wouldnt therefore mention Ianto...where as an article about Ianto (or actor) may mention Gwen (or actress) simply because she is alive...and both are pregnant) and then all of this together can be artifically be driving up what the Starmeter "SEES" as interest

Another issue is Starmeter only seems to show an increase or decrease from the previous week and Eve's wave could still actually be a good deal smaller than JB GDL or Torchwood's

Also what needs to be factored into the meter is negative interest

only 2 above gdl(torchwood, dr who) who has had less exposure in this country then eve(torchwood, merlin, little dorrit,dr who) so i am happier for anything that increases gareth.

I'm surprised that Gareth wasn't higher than them. The talk this past week has centerd on Ianto's death and it's reprecussions.
He was better than both of them in the Series,too.imo.

Remember though that it's a percentage, Gareth was up by 602% last week while John was only 384% and Eve 291%, so any gain this week is going to necessarily be smaller by percentage because it was a bigger amount to build on in the first place. Go Gareth, I say!
