I think the BBC might be getting a message, aka, we are not happy.

I sincerely hope RTD is thoroughly pissed off that the "save Ianto Jones" campaign is being given publicity by the BBC. Because seriously, it's more than 'just a few people blogging' to have raised over 1,800 pounds for charity in honour of Ianto.

Is it wrong that I'm hoping that RTD's panel at the Comic Con is overrun by irate fans and that he's thoroughly booed? Is it also wrong that I'm feverishly hoping someone asks him loudly and publicly for a hint as to what sort of death Gwen will suffer in the next series? Because, you know, it's a tradition that RTD himself has initiated...

This is great. And I'm sure Gareth is touched with all this support. It can only help boost his career with any other project he does too.

boo rtd here, our people should show a lot more class than rtd has shown in recent days in discussing the fanbase. please be respectful (both jb and dt will be on the same panel, john adores his fans and david rarely attends fan events such as this) because we don't want to give the high ground to rtd and give validation to his the "save ianto jones" campaign is the work of "silly fangirls" we can still protest with class. anyone who attends please give us a full report because this will be interesting. i am still wondering if he will back out at the last minute?

I don't think he will back out to be fair, he as already said that he doesn't really care about the fans and its his show so he can sorta do what he wants *Within regulations of BBC guidelines* Probably not a lot of people will boo, everybody will be waiting on tenterhooks for his explanation and what he would say, tho saying that I'm anxious for the questions that will come from fans they always have the good Q's that would put anybody on the spot.

so fans have conquered BBC wales news, next is America news.......

I do not think that if RTD has anything to do with a Season 4 he will bring back Ianto, whatever fans do, unfortunately. He has already expressed his utter contempt for fans several times.

To be honest I think RTD has actually began to go, ever so slightly, insane. The way he speaks in interviews and the things he says have begun to get more and more divorced from reality.

I think the best way to treat him anywhere he appears is to just totally ignore him. Don't applaud him, don't boo him, don't ask him anything--just behave as if he isn't there. Then see how he reacts to that. If he starts to speak, interrupt him as if he hasn't spoken.
