Seriously, this guy is coming to work in America? Yeah, I hope he has a garunteed employment, cause that attitude isn't gonna get him very far.

He basically spat at the hand who fed him these years. All those compliments must have made him gone crazy.

Fine. It's drama. Does it NEED a death/departure for it to be a drama or that arrogant (censored) doesn't know better ? Why the cow never has a drama in her life ?
We perfectly handle drama RTD. Hell, Janto fandom is full of angst from the very beginning. But we don't like to be lied about how Janto would be great, and we certainly don't confuse dramatic end with butchery.

See if you get any penny ever from me.

I felt very insulted after I read that interview. He doesn't give a crap about his audience. I don't think he ever did. It's all about RTD and what he thinks should go. This is why I live in a world of denial.

i guess that someone should explain to explain the difference between drama/slasher films to rtd. drama unlike slasher films does not think the higher the body count the better the drama. compare coe with twilight zone and you will see the scariest episodes do not involve death or blood on screen at all. one example that haunts to this day is the ex-nazi on the run from his past who goes to a art gallery everyday to look at peaceful picture of a fisherman on a small boat wishing he was that fisherman. one day a nazi hunter confronts him, he panics and kills the man and goes on the run stopping for one last look at the fisherman picture and prays to trade places with the fisherman not knowing that picture had been on loan and had been replaced with one of christ on the cross. he got his wish and i had nightmares for weeks. anyone remember the line "room for one more"?

What RTD just doesn't get is that US audiences HATE to be lied to, depressed and disheartened. Especially in such a flippant, condescending manner.

I've lived in San Francisco for 15 years, but am originally from Iowa & have family in small town Texas and Missouri -as hick it gets. I can just hear what one of my uncles would say about RTD - This kind of interview would bring out the worst xenophobia and homophobia. As much as I hate to say it, this kind of thing doesn't play well in the Midwest and the South.

Good luck with that US TV career RTD.....

Urgh. That man is really pissing me off. Doesn't he know that insulting people, his public, is not the way to get a job?

My favorite poet is Charles Baudelaire. Everyone know how simply joyful and happy his poems are. *sarcastic*
I quite like Emile Nelligan too, who died in an alysum (mental hospital) very young. Yep. There's no drama in poetry.
