So this sounds like Gwen is going to be a pain in the arse again in S2, HOWEVER, soudns like TPTB have recognised that Jack/Gwen is never going to work. so. YAY!

Sounds like TPTB have recognized that Jack/Gwen is never going to work. so. YAY! YAY! indeed. I have always said that if Jack and Gwen become a couple I'll stop watching the show. I think my biggest problem with Jack/Gwen 'love' is that I just don't see *any* sexual chemistry between them, at all. However, they do have nice platonic chemistry.

I do remember flora 2313 mentioning once in torch_wood that she met John Barrowman and he asked what the fans thought of Gwen/Jack she replied that what we really want to see is Jack/Ianto.

sometimes when Gwen comes on I used to think about riping my arm ff just so had something to throw lol

I also used to refer to Gwen as JarJar cos she has a similar effect on TW fandom as JarJar had on SW fandom lol

Accidentally found several vids showing Gwen/Jack and going on about how they love each other. Really sick making!! Husband and oldest son and myself watched Torchwood season one and we all disliked Gwen from the start. My 13 year old hates her!! By the time we got to episode 6 he was saying "what's she there for she's useless?"
Husband explained that RTD liked the character and son said "well, he must be a Schwanz."
Before anyone gets irate at that it's my son's opinion-I'm not commenting.
