There's an story in/from Wales Online with Eve Myles about her becoming a Mum and all. Not to bore you with that, but this is where i drew the line at this :

I'm really sad that Torchwood is tanked, there are so many sci-fi shows out there, so many with better writing, but none with gays that I know of. (Except Battlestar Galactica? Lesbians?)
On gay geekery, fortunately I have the following comics;
Top Ten by Alan Moore, police procedural set in a city of superheroes. Phantom Jack is a lesbian and Captain Jetman is gay. Jetman has a live in partner of decades, though his partner Wulf, only appears in the last pages of Book 2, their story stars in Forty Niners.
The Authority; I'm just starting, but it's DC expry of Batman and Superman.
Buffy Season Eight: Buffy actually hooks up with the slayer who has a crush on her, Satsu, in Volume 3, Wolves At The Gate (farest I've read yet), it's not OTP (yet?) and they both acknowledge it. I was annoyed when I heard about it because I used to be a Buffy/Faith fan, but it's actually very, very, good, especially the page where Buffy tried to keep Satsu out of a battle...Satsu said that this is one order she's not following, Madam, and then Buffy getting this adorable confused look about "I can't believe how sexy I find it when she calls me madam".
This amuse me because if Buffy is Jack, and Satsu is Ianto, than Faith is John Hart, and back in Season 3, Faith once bragged about wrestling naked with a crocodile.

Joss is infamous for pulling the death lever, but while I'm still mourning Tara, and the death of another character, at least he does it in a respectful way.
Woo, fic? So even if there is no canon gay, there is like, hoyay eh? I'll probably still check it out for Amanda Tapping, but yeah.

I guess she's too happy to be presented as the star of the show : who would spit on such a great yet temporary soup ?
As a childish fan unworthy of the writers' attention, I'd say when they'll finally get that they killed their own show "that some things can’t be fixed and what’s dead stays dead"

Mollycoddle the fans - I may be only 18, but I am not a child and haven't been since I hit about age 5.
Her disdain for fans of the show and her outlook on how great series 4 will be is grating on me.
"I can’t wait for the next series because it’s going to give her a totally new dimension." - Hello Gwen's character as I have seen is pretty one dimensional, and adding extra dimensions to something already built takes work, good work.
“I envisage her with a baby in one arm, holding a feeding bottle under her chin and a loaded gun in the other hand. It’s going to be real fun to play.” - Erm, when is it ever a good idea to hold a baby in one hand and a gun in another. I know it's sci-fi, but still, that's taking it a bit far. I'm probably not the expert on the subject but i did do childcare, so on I go, someone who believes that a baby should be around guns, even the fakes they use on tv isn't the best candidate to be a parent.
And as for James Moran his bit on his twitter, I can understand him being annoyed with fans pestering him trying to get him to bring back Ianto, but saying that -
The only person he has to please is himself and the storyline.
That wasn't a direct quote can't find the link, but these people are beginning to annoy me.
Their lack of acknowledgement or consideration for the fans startles me, don't they realise that really it's us that pay their wages. If no-ones watching what they write or act in they won't make money, it's simple.

Obviously this was Eve's idea of a joke, but having seen her talk live I noticed she was very excitable and hyper all the time. She literally hasn't any idea of what she is talking about.
I always breast feed all mine, so in my case it would be even more exciting and impossible--3 babies fighting over 2 breasts and a gun gripped between my teeth perhaps?
I was not sorry that James Moran got rude comments on his twitter page. You can't tell fans to fuck off because I am damn well going to ignore what you want and say, and do whatever I like and expect folk to be pleased about it.

I really try not to let my hate for Gwen effect my opinion about Eve, but sometimes I wonder if they are all that different…
And since we are talking about mollycoddling: Why bring back Rhys in season one?

You know what this is, she and the rest of them have made her the be all and end all of the series and thought that people wouldn;t mind them killing off tosh, owen and ianto and jack leaving because everyone loves Gwen. But now they realise just how unpopular she is and with most of the fans saying that it was unfair that she got everything and if it is just her we won't watch. And also, in the reviews of the series, her acting isn't mentioned once and JB and GDL get all the credit, she isn't happy. I think it has finally hit the writers and her that they might think she is the best thing in the show but the fans don;t and frankly, they can;t stand her and they might have destroyed everything because people aren;t going to watch or buy anything because of what they have done.

my only regret is that i will not be in wales on 17th when gdl, jb, em will be promoting the coe dvds. just when i thought the feeling of acid being dropped on my heart might finally start to slow down i see this and my "childish" mind is really pissed. when did good drama consist of the killing off all your fellow castmates so that you would be the last one left. i started watching torchwood because of jb's captain jack and fell in love with jack/ianto/tosh/owen and rhys/andy/swanson(wish we could have seen more her) and not the gwen"the fucking heart" cooper show. if eve thinks fans after reading statements like that are going to watch the "gwen's torchwood" show then who is mollycoddling who? i wonder how long before she starts walking this back.

I never really liked Gwen, but i liked Eve and thought she was a nice person. Now, she is just a cow. The thing that she doesn;t seem to get is, she can't carry a show and also, no fans, no money, no show, its not the viewers who have made this show, its the fans and we can break it should we want to and we are doing so. Wonder what she would think when if they go to these signings and when she comes out she gets boo'd and no one wants her autograph. That would be good, 250 people there and no ones wants her signature.
Someone should really tell the writers and her that pissing off fans is not the way to go and if they think it is, well say goodbye to your cosy jobs because you won;t have one. And also, the last time i checked eve, you weren;t the one who drew people to the show, that was John, nobody knew who you were and right now, nor do we want to.

I wonder if she is nervous. I mean, her ass kisser RTD has gone now, and the BBC are in control and that means that non of her little team are safe nor is she. The BBC could very simply change what they were hoping for season 4 or cancel it because they think there is no point in continuing. Viewers mean nothing, look at robin hood. And also, i know people say that John would come back and do season 4 but then again so did GDL, and he will i am determined to make that happen, but if John doesn't want to come back because he thinks that its a great ending for Jack in the show, the BBC might not want to do another series of TW because he is the main draw. She's not as safe as she thinks she is nor is her job.

We all think the same thing - it's easy for her to say when her character constantly gets a happy ending, and never really suffers any true losses. Jack lost EVERYTHING, and she still has the nerve to say (in front of Rhys, no less!) that he should remain on Earth for her!!!
I bet she wouldn't be saying those things if it had been Gwen who was killed off, and it was her fans howling for her resurrection.

What I hate is that every time I think I'm starting to deal with the whole thing, something like this article pops up and I want to go curl up into a ball of misery all over again.

OK. There has been many negative comments about Eve as a whole, so all I'm going to comment is certain passages that I find are really pissing me off.

She got to save the world???- at the end Gwen did nothing but run away from soldiers, with a bunch of kids, and being a mum?? after the initial find and telling Rhys, Gwen didn't really do anything maternal, like protect her stomach and whatnot. She was running & jumping a lot and I mean she was lying on her stomach on a bed of potatoes as she told Rhys for God's sakes!! That and yeah as a mother you would find it disheartening in the situation you are in, but Gwen 'there is still hope' Cooper was thinking of getting RID of her child!!!!o_0

Kid's programme? Oh yeah, having a sex alien, cannabels, killer-robot-girlfriend, space-whale meat, mind-raping aliens, life-sucking ghosts, revenge-bent brothers, aliens hitting off children-- are in the same league as teletubbies, sesame street and playschool. I just didn't know it..o_0
