Ending

We might have been stabbed in the back but, Gwack fans did not get their happy ending. Jack leaves Gwen isn't enough for him, and yeah they could bring him back (like some people over at the house of -pain- I mean cooper were saying, because he and Gwen are the only ones that matter) but he still left, it still hurt and that hurt and love (even thought he don't say it) was bigger than anything he could feel for Gwen. So yeah I'm pissed, I'm mad but at least I don't have to make a hundred an one reasons of why Jack and Gwen aren't together or why they should be together when Ianto and Jack  just are. By the way I do not want RTD on my side of the world seriously take him back, and if coming to America was his reason for killing Janto let me tell him that Queer as folk had a good five year run and the L world too.

Yes it is Jensen Ackles, I agree he is the prettier man ever. I also agree with you and our t.v. we like things to be explain and for things to make sense, we also can be very annoying until you give us an explanation that satisfy us or until you fix what you broke ( I know I participated in the savedanieljackson campaign and made my opinion on a particular character of spn know) So maybe you are right maybe he should come to America, where networks realize(most of the time) that happy fans = money.

As heart-broken as I am over Ianto's death, I was heartened by Jack's reaction to Gwen. I'm sure she expected that Jack would just fall into her arms once he'd had sufficient time of mourning.
His admission immediately after Ianto's death that he couldn't look at her anymore, and then his brush-off to her on the hillside six months later made the whole thing almost tolerable.
He as good as told her she wasn't worth him staying on Earth for, and after everything that had happened, that was probably the one glimmer of light remaining.
My hope now is that when (and I think it is 'when', and not 'if') Captain Jack reappears in Doctor Who, what happened isn't just white-washed, and we have a Jack who acts as though nothing happened. Even if it's just a few sentences, I hope there is some exchange between Jack and the Doctor, and some acknowledgement of the loss and devastation that Jack has suffered.

After having told everyone that I would write no more Torchwood I am in the process of writing an ending to Children Of Earth. It starts where that finishes. It anyone wants it in will be put on my LJ in small pieces because I am an dial up right now.

They didn't like their ending?! We lost our characters and relationship but they have a problem with the ending?

I thought the fact that Jack left even after Gwen begged him to say was fantastic. It was such a smack in the face for Gwen and it also showed who he actually loved. As much as i was upset i was sitting there and thinking, YES!! Take that Gwen! She was so selfish, i mean, she wanted him to stay even though there was no Torchwood, no hub, he had lost his family, his friends, his boyfriend, his whole world but hey, that doesn't matter because she wants him to stay even though she has everything and he has nothing. I mean, after all that i would really want to sit there and watch her have a child and be happily married when i have nothing left. Rolls eyes.

The only problem with the DW special is, we don't know when it happens timeline wise. I hope it is afterwards because it would be interesting to see 10's reaction to what jack has become.

When he said that she wasn't enough to stay for, the glare on my face that had been there all episode, did fade into a smirk for a moment. I was waiting for him to say 'I'll come back for you' or something else moronic, but when he didn't...gotta to admit, made me smile - bit of an 'in-you-face Gwen moment' that I have been waiting three series for.
Wish Ianto didnt have to die for it to happen though :-(
