So, after what had happened, i emailed the BBC complaints section, not saying how many times, but i finally got a responses from them. They said that they had received my complaint but couldn't answer it at the moment due to a flood of complaints. Hmm, i wonder why? Lol!

i complained about the fact they cant seem to regulate when THEIR dvds get released and I got a reply which quite frankly was a bit shit.

i've given up on complaining about ianto, because i think all we may achieve is a 4th series where he comes back in a flashback or one episode, and then have to deal with a frankly shit 4th series.
however. if RTD is off to hollywood, what's the chances of another series now anyway D:

We. Are. Coming. *Amused*

RTD, you don't go to Hollywood, you fled to Hollywood. Too bad you didn't bring Gwen Cooper in your bag (the character, I have no problem with the actress)

Hm, maybe we should remind the BBC bosses who is the more important factor in here. Is it RTD or is it us, the viewers? Just to remind them that we are the ones who made them move Torchwood to BBC1, without us they wouldn't even bother to make the second season.

We should also tell them that we are the ones who buy the DVDs, books, TW magazine and all the other fan stuff. It's us not the average viewer who has never heard about TW before, saw it for the first time, said not bad and then just switched the channels. We are the customers and customer satisfaction should be the first thing on their mind. If we don't like what we see, we can always go somewhere else. I'd rather read fanfiction then watch S3 ever again (Season 3? What season 3? Isn't that the one where the fans will be really happy about the relationship between Jack and Ianto? Sorry I'm still in denial) and I don't have to pay my licence for that.

Sorry for the rant I just had to get it out.

Already started composing it. I just want it to be a sound comprehensive complaint with accurate and compelling arguments then a rant from a fan. (Sorry, just dug up my Thesaurus)

Complaining to BBC

My daughter, who is 10, asked me if she could complain to the BBC about COE. She wasn't allowed to watch it, but her older brother evidently told her about a few things. I said that if she could do it on her own she could send a complaint as long as she showed me it first.

This is what she wrote and sent:
Dear BBC,
Everyone old enough to watch Torchwood loved Ianto and loved Captain Jack and I think it was very cruel to kill Ianto and leave poor Captain Jack on his own.

I am very cross with the BBC and I don't like CBBC either because everyone on it is stupid and none of the people who sing can sing in tune.

Love from Anna-Louise Tesia Sierakowiak, aged 10.

I particularly liked the love at the end.

Anyhow, she got a very serious reply saying her comments had been noted and had been passed onto the relevant departments.

So that is how you get a reply from the BBC.
