RTD and Gwen

Anyone think the reason why Jack didn't says I love you back to Ianto because of RTD.  He most likely is saving it when Jack say it to Gwen if there is Series 4.  I'm sick and tired of the love writers and RTD have for Gwen.

Of course.

You know, i think he has forgotten what this show was meant to be about. It was meant to be about Jack and what he has been up to but no, its not about Jack, its about Gwen Cooper. It is always about Gwen and her life.

You know, i think he used John's name to get the show but he has actually made it all bout Eve. He wanted her to be in his show and he couldn;t do it without a name so he said it was going to be about Jack and he got what he wanted but then he changed it to being the what he wanted it to be. I mean, have we acually learnt anything about Jack at all since this whole thing started, no really.

That makes perfect sense, We have learnt near everything about Gwen and her personality, but yet Jack hardly anything at all, just the few odd episodes *CoE3 + "Adam"* I wonder as the writers were trying to have Gwack in the first season but it never worked, have they killed off Ianto because they think it could work in season 4........

p.s If Ianto is dead, I don't think I'm going to be watching 4th season avidly as I have done the past 3 seasons.

RTD has been madly in love with Gwen from the start - never mind what the majority of fans think of her - and has apparently been trying to kill off Ianto since season one. Well, it looks like he finally got his way. If JB goes along with a Gwack season 4, I will be very surprised and I'll lose all respect for the man. I've already lost any respect I might have had for RTD. He seems to think the opinion of the people who watch the show doesn't matter. Lets see how many viewers a possible season 4 would get now.

If that's true, then I'm very glad. I don't see what JB could have done with the character from here; Jack is broken. I think he got shafted by this series as much as the rest of us and so did GDL. The only one who got anything good out of it was RTD's darling Eve.

The way they've left it, they don't need Jack to come back.

S4 will open with Gwen in a rebuilt Hub, Rhys at home with the baby. Maybe Lois and a few new recruits to fill up the space, and that's it.
They only need Captain Jack to pop in as a special guest star now and then.

I predict (and boy I would love to be wrong) that we have just seen a five hour preview for the 'Gwen Cooper is Torchwood' show.
