The very presence of Gwen ALL THE TIME is a motivation enough to insult RTD. I'm not often in this fandom but where did he see people who watch Torchwood for Gwen ? Why is she there all the time ? Which survey gave him the impression we even want her in the series ?

I am completely devastated and will not be watching torchwood again. I really hope that enough people boycott tomorrow's episode that it will make an impact on viewing figures and that RTD realises that this time he really has gone too far.

The Gwen show is awful enough (It's starting to get physical: when she opens her mouth, I turn the sound off :she's just worthless) but I thought "hey there's Ianto, good Ianto" but killing my Ianto ? WE WANT OUR IANTO BACK YOU BIIIP! You jumped the sharks, I don't give a cr*p about the storyline if you don't bring my Ianto back and with a good explanation (Rift again? Don't even think of that!)

I give one last chance, to bring him back, against my very reasonings and then I will only read AU where's Janto is really there and where Gwen stands where she belongs: in the side.

It should have been Gwen who died there. I really liked Gwen in this season, and it would have been shocking and sad and good tv if she had died in Jack's arms, knowing her baby wouldn't be taken by aliens.

Like I said before, am done with Torchwood. RTD is clearly out of his mind. Just because you fangirl Gwen like crazy, RTD, doesn't mean that your audience does too. Especially when you kill off arguably the best and most loved character.

I say arguably because frankly, Gwen lovers, who I refuse to acknowledge much like RTD refuses to acknowledge how much his favourite character sucks, would argue that Gwen was the best.

Frankly, Torchwood could have been great, more than great. But RTD's insistence that Gwen Bury-me-in-a-Y-shaped-coffin-if-I-ever-happen-to-die-though-that-doesn't-seem-likely Cooper is the be-all and end-all of the entire world is maddening.

Well I am a Janto girl and yes I know my icon doesn't say that but it is my world of Torchwood 5 with Sam/Ianto but most of my stuff is Janto and so are my music vids.

I was heart broken and i will watch it in the desperate hope that somehow Ianto will be brought back. I know I love the world of denial as well.

I think it is a stupid thing to do before even bringing in a new cast so you can get fans to like them.
