Okay just over four and a half hours until Torchwood series three starts (in UK) and is anyone else waiting for the Gwen bash fodder we  need, that will more than likely take place.

Ready and waiting! Anyone else notice the TV trailers have been practically all Gwen? I've been finding that very annoying, could do with some serious Gwen bashing to soothe me!

The amount of Gwen shots in the trailers makes me think that we didn't get our wish and Torchwood is stil the GWEN COOPER SHOW - NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

However, the more of her in the show, the more we can twist what the writers came up with, to be more bashing towards Gwen.

And I hold out some hope for the series as we find out more about Ianto and his family, as well as a naked Captain Jack, I mean who is going to sy no to that.

I'd been thinking about how quiet it had been on here at the moment. I do have a half finished gwenbash fic from Rhys' pov, wil try and finish it tomorrow, but I'm focusing on the backstory to my gwenbash CCTV fic at the moment.

I used to think of him as a brilliant writer, but seriously the amount of gwen in the first episode? why does he do it? can he nt see that hardly anyone actually likes her and that their are WAY more janto shippers out there than gwack!?!

You do realise now that series 3 has begun that the torchwood fandom war between janto shippers and gwack shippers has started again! *sigh* I'm probably gunna get more hate mail in my inbox from gwack shippers!

does RTD even know who he wants jack to be with?

Well today's and tomorrows episode were written by someone else, unfortunatly the fact it's a series rather than 5 one shots makes me think it'll carry on as it started (as in a glut of the whore of torchwood)

I avoid ship wars like the plague I'm not interested in Gwackers and in fact I only tend to check out Janto comms not even going on torch_wood and I keep my main bashing to AGA (don't even put it on my journal normally)

I doubt RTD knows what he wants

Moan away that's what AGA is for to give us somewhere to blow off steam

what struck me was how she goes on

about how wonderful and brilliant and spectacular it is to be pregnant, as if no other woman in history has ever been pregnant before. Hell, Gwen herself has been pregnant before with the nostrovite!

And what was up with that offensive 'Filipino chimney-sweep' remark?!

And the 'I am Torchwood' remark to Dr Rupesh? Who died and made her supreme leader of Torchwood?

I haven't actually watched the second episode yet but something someone said got to me...

In short (and this is coming from a former AGA member) *small voice* I liked Gwen in this episode she kicked ass with no whinging & Ianto was really wasted in this episode up until the end!

Christ I hope they're not trying to phase Ianto out and *try* and make she whore more likeable
