Has anybody listened to BBC Torchwood on radio?? Episode "The dead line"

It has some excellent Ianto/Jack bits that near enough made me cry ,esp about what Ianto really thinks of his relationship with Jack

Tho the storyline was weird, with Gwen taking the main stage with her crime-fighting partner Rhys

Any thoughts??

Oh I loved this so much I've listened to it twice (of course the second time I fast forwarded through the Gwen bits) it is chock full of Janto-y goodness even without JB having much mike time. It's also hurt/comfort and I LOVE h/c fics especially when Jack is the one getting hurt!

there's a reason JB wasn't present much for Dead Line; his time was incredibly limited to the 2 days between filming his TV show and starting his tour. The writers had to re-write and limit his appearance.

there's an interview with the producer about all of the tap dancing they did to make the radio shows.

i imagine that if JB had been available, it would have been Ianto turned into a zombie.

I loved that Rhys was all 'of course Ianto's going to be at the hospital with Jack', so he had to go with Gwen.

I actually quite liked Gwen in this. In the end, the only thing she did was find the clues so Ianto could fix the problem without having to leave Jack.

And Rhys was with Gwen, so it made it much more bearable. Rhys FTW.

And really, after Ianto's monologue I stopped listening to everything else.

I was playing Lego Batman while listening to it earlier, i had to pause the game and listen. Love Ianto's monologue, so sweet.
