Searching for a specific Jack/Ianto fic

Hey guys,

I’m looking for a specific fic that was on ao3. It’s jack/ianto, and has eleven, Amy, and Rory. It takes place during the episode when jack returns from the year that never was. Eleven takes the tardis back to that evening, and meets the TW team on top of the building where John hart came through the rift.
Eleven tells jack that he has to sacrifice Gwen to the rift or ianto will die. Jack pushes Gwen (and John because they were handcuffed together)into the rift, and the bomb that was on John’s chest exploded, closing the rift. Time resets, and everyone goes to a hotel, where eleven explains that Gwen was never supposed to exist.

Hi, first time posting here so I hope it's ok.

I've recently gotten back into the series through the radio plays (Serenity, Broken, Outbreak...) and it's reignited both my love for Torchwood and the old frustrations I used to have with the series, Gwen being the primary focus of those.

From the way she treated the other members of the team to her general behaviour, she's never been a character I could relate to, and by episode 6 was a character I firmly disliked. By the end of the series, I outright hated her.

Cutting for length :-).

New Series

I have planned out a series called Consequences of the Real World. It is taking issues with Gwen from the series and addresses the consequences that she should have faced. I have tried to make it as realistic as possible. I have completed the first story and have three more planned out. They are not necessarily in the same universe but have the same premise. I am rewatching the series as I work on these to make them as accurate as possible. Let me know what you think!

Tomorrow is my birthday and I've decided to throw a Hobbit-style virtual birthday party this year. So I asked the people on my friendslist to give me a fandom, a character and a prompt. Two of them asked for a Torchwood ficlet, both of which turned out slightly... erm... anti-Gwen (what a surprise).

I think many of you know my Torchwoodgate crossover - even though it's been almost a decade since I finished the first installment. Now, I do have three written chapters to Part 2; they've been sitting on my HD for years because I ran into a block with the story. So, what should I do? Wait for inspiration to return, or post the existing 3 chapters to otherworlds_lib, so that those who are interested can read it?

I realize that inspiration might not return for another couple of years. But perhaps some people would like to see in which direction the series is going?

Tell me what you think.

My sincerest apologies for mixing up the next chapter of Timescapes. This is the actual next chapter: https://archiveofourown.org/works/14172747/chapters/32845665. The reason of the mistake was the fact that AO3 (like any other archive) counts the chapters by numbers only, and this story has both an Introduction and a Prelude before it starts in earnest.

OTOH, this way you get not one but two new chapters this weekend, so I hope you'll forgive me. :)
